Hello, I’m Rachael and I would love to help you to create the home of your dreams!

From an early age, I’ve had a passion for art and design. I used to trace patterns on fabrics and wallpapers with my fingers, constantly rearrange my bedroom, and always had a camera close at hand.

My extensive career in the creative industry, particularly in the greetings cards sector, saw my designs featured in numerous high street retailers such as John Lewis, Selfridges and M&S. I enjoyed experiencing global travel to seek out new trends, and honed my management and customer relationship skills.

These experiences culminated when I took charge of managing the project to redesign our 18th-century Yorkshire stone cottage. Collaborating with an architect, I not only reimagined floor plans for enhanced flow and efficiency but also repurposed materials, turning a stone window mullion into a fireplace lintel and using the old flagstone flooring in the outdoor space. The interiors are a blend of old and new elements, combining ancient wooden floor beams with the sleek glass of the newly reoriented staircase. Stone walls were neatly exposed and softly lit, creating layers of texture and atmosphere. Despite the construction company facing financial challenges, I managed the situation, maintained a positive relationship, and ensured the completion of the project within budget, even if it took a bit longer than planned!

Visitors often comment that our home feels calm and inviting, appreciating the careful attention to detail that I’ve incorporated and the connection that I’ve created with the space.
